Emergency Dial 9-1-1
Today at 13:19hrs, the Dover Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a second working house fire on Mockingbird Avenue in the Mayfair development. While units were responded, dispatched advised that Dover Police were on the scene with an active fire in the kitchen. The Chief of Department arrived on scene first and reported that he had a single story residential structure with smoke showing from the Alpha side on the house. Ladder 1 and Engine 2 arrived together and their crews extinguished the fire. The scene was placed under control at 13:46hrs. Ambulance 63 and Medics evaluated the home owner. Fire Department units cleared and turned to scene over to the City FMO.
