Emergency Dial 9-1-1
On Monday, January 22nd at approximately 4:30pm, Engine 1, Ladder 1, Squad 1, Squad 2, Engine Co 43 along with St Francis and Kent County EMS were dispatched for a working house fire on Ann Avenue. On arrival crews found smoke showing from a two-story single-family dwelling. Crews entered the structure and found a kitchen fire in the residence. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and searched the residence with negative results. Scene was turned over to the City of Dover Fire Marshal's Office to investigate. Units remained on scene for approximately 1 hour.
