Yesterday members of the Dover Fire Department along with Dover Police Department-Delaware, Little Creek Fire Company, Leipsic Vol. Fire Company, Hartly Volunteer Fire Company, Marydel Volunteer Fire Company and Saint Francis EMS had the pleasure to escort the Dover High Schools Unified Basketball Team and the Boys Basketball Team though the city as they traveled to Newark for the DIAA State Championships! Both teams returned as Champions, Unified defeating CR 36-28 and the Boys earning their first State Title in school history….beating Salesianum 56-53.
Both teams were escorted back into the city when they returned. Congratulations to both teams!!! GO DOVER!!!!
