Emergency Dial 9-1-1
Monday, October 2nd at 5:38pm, Engine 1 Ladder 1, Ladder 2, Engine 4, Squad 1 and Squad 2 were dispatched to four major incidents within an hour. The first was an apartment fire at Silver Mill Apartments. The fire was contained in the kitchen by the sprinkler system. The incident displaced 5 apartments within the building. The second was a reported building fire west of Dover that was a good intent call. Third was a building fire at Texas Roadhouse in Camden and forth was an MVC with entrapment Scarbough Road and N DuPont Highway. While we pride ourselves at the opportunity to empty the fire stations to protect our citizens, we must thank our neighbors who helped us on these incidents, Camden-Wyoming, Little Creek, Cheswold, Hartly and Clayton.
