On November 9, 2016 at 0328, the Dover Fire Department was alerted for a single-vehicle motor vehicle collision in the 800 block of North Dupont Hwy. E4 was first on scene, under the direction of Deputy Chief Rhodes. EMS, already on scene, was performing a rapid extraction of the patient through the passenger side door due to inadequate breathing. R1 and E2 arrived on scene and assisted with patient care and securing of the vehicle. The patient was packaged for transport and transported to the local trauma center. The scene was turned over to Dover PD for investigation.
