October 21st 2015, just past 1400hrs, the Camden-Wyoming Fire Company along with ALS and DSP aviation were dispatched to an MVC with possible Cardiac arrest on New Burton Road in the area Baden Powell Way. As Rescue 41 was responding, Kent County 911 advised units that there was a report of subjects trapped. Crews from Ambulance and Rescue 41 arrived to find a 2 vehicle MVC with a subject trapped in each vehicle. Due to daytime staffing and the severity of entrapment, 41 command (41-17) requested and addition Rescue Co to the scene to assist with extrication. Crews from Dover Rescue 1 and Engine 2 arrived and were directed to assist with extricating the driver of the second vehicle. Crew from both departments worked vigorously as a team to remove the driver. Once extricated, the drivers from both vehicles were transport to the local trauma center. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
